Self proclaimed “Prime-o-Pomp Canterbury Space Prog”, North London’s Prince of Pratts have arrived to take you on a journey in a flying tea pot to the land of 1971 from 500 years in the future…

Taking influence from 2 main camps of progressive rock, Prince of Pratts fuse the jazz-pomp sounds of the Canterbury Scene (in particular Caravan, Khan and Egg) together with heavy Hawkwind/Gong inspired space rock. adding influence form other 70’s rock bands including Lucifers Friend, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath etc and from all corners of the 70s prog-rock spectrum (Especially King Crimson and Jethro Tull), Prince of Pratts attempt to deliver an authentic and totally British prog-rock sound, maybe originally stolen from the 70s but with the emphasis on bringing it back to date.

This band is the love child of a bunch of tea slurping, Gong loving, prog-head idiots…
